Spotify is quickly transforming itself from a music streaming company to an audio company leading the charge on the creator economy. The company is heavily investing in podcasts, both creating their own and acquiring existing content.
CEO Daniel Ek envisions a three part revenue model in which the company makes money from subscriptions revenues, podcast ads, and direct monetization for creators. To get there, Ek is thinking long-term and investing in creators.

‘The Office’: Peacock, TVOD, Netflix, Antenna
The Office has many fans, but Peacock executives may be some of the biggest. The show drove 3.9x more signups to Peacock compared to the average December weekend after it left Netflix for Peacock. This article offers an interesting perspective into the power of high-demand content.
